My heart's desire

I’ve yet to meet you and I cant wait to see you

I’ve dreamed about you since I can remember

and now that I feel you are near

I ponder on whether I am what you envision

Most would call me delusional if they were to know my thoughts

but one would only sound mad to the nonbelievers

until they witness the miracle

I don’t have to see you

to know that I love you

my heart tells me so

I’m convinced that I was made to love you

for you are my first thought when the morning rises

and my wish before I fall asleep

the thought of you consumes me

and I pray mine does just as much

I cant wait to hear the warmth of your voice

or nibble your lips under the sheets

I cant wait to feel you deep within

and wear your scent all over my skin

I cant wait to see your smile

as I cross your sight

but most importantly

I cant wait to cherish you for the rest of my life
