I want

We all have dreams, goals, and aspirations, and I am no exception. But I want to share those with you in this blog post. I’d like to warn you that some of them sound a little bit out there, but someone once said, “Dream so big you get uncomfortable telling them to small-minded people.”

I know this is the only way to dream because, as someone once said, “Dreams come in a size too big so that we may grow into them.” And I want to grow and become.

Here are my goals for 2024-2025

I want to walk the stage where I’ll be handed the symbolization of my education as a graduate student.

I want to wake up in a house far enough to forget the buzzing sound of the city traffic but close enough to enjoy the fine dining and orchestra concert without the hefty mileage.

I want to witness readers’ appreciation of writings from every corner of the world.

I want to hold my very first collection of chapters and grant myself permission to call myself a novelist.

I want to be as healthy and fit as I was before and challenge myself by participating in sports events around town.

I want to feel like an official YouTuber and blogger by getting my first 1000.

I want you to be able to hear my very first song on Spotify.

I want to be better, to grow, and to become the version I dreamed of being at seven years old, which I have yet to accomplish.

But what about you? Are you who you want to be? Who do you dream to be? If your young self sees you today, would she/he be proud of who you have become?

With Love,

Ibis
