Traveling Has Changed Me

Unless you’re traveling to Mars, it won’t matter where you go; you’ll be most likely surrounded by people. We’re constantly molding the surface of our planet by directly planting a tree or building a large enterprise. Our landscape changes by the human’s desire to evolve, and because of it, so do we. I find our species quite the beautiful madness I expect to be and always try to understand. Traveling taught me that no country on Earth is its own but simply the image of those who were, are, and will be sharing time and space there.

History Appreciation

At first, history wasn’t my most-liked subject at school until I started traveling. Robert Heinlein once said, “A generation which ignores history has no past and no future.” it has stayed with me since reading his Time Enough For Love during a flight to Barcelona. My visit to Spain became even more special because I felt a connection with the country through history; in reality, the only reason why my first language is Spanish is because of them. Walking down the streets of Madrid made me feel as if I was at home because of the architectural resemblance, and that was just the beginning for me.

My Outlook On People

I wasn’t much of a talker growing up. I used to see people in a completely different way than I do now, and it’s all because of traveling. Traveling enables me to see the world through others’ eyes. I continue to learn about life’s greatness and misfortunes through the people I meet. Whether it is destiny or not that we cross paths, it sure has and will inspire me to appreciate everyone’s unique way of being.

Life Appreciation

Traveling has changed how I see life by giving it a more profound meaning. Often, it seems that when people depart from this world, their spirits disappear into the air without a trace but the memories we have of them. Although that might be true, we breathe them back to life by reminiscing on what they loved the most. Famous common examples are the ingenuity of Gaudi, Van Gogh’s blue infatuation, and the prevailing artistry of Beethoven.

My State Of Mind

I often travel when I need a break from the daily boring routine. Traveling has become my favorite remedy to detox all the bad energy around me. It feels like the most sacred soul rejuvenating process, where I recharge and prepare to take on whatever the future throws. In my return, I found that my state of mind had radically changed with a brand new array of perspectives in life and witty ideas.

Musical Gravitation

Every zip code has a sound that shapes the melodies of a country. Visiting new places without knowing their music would be like committing a crime against ourselves. Music is my favorite outlet for everything in life; traveling has broadened its horizon to greater lengths. Music has proven to be the one universal language that translates and transcends all human forms, energy, and emotion.

The more I travel, the more I submerge myself in other cultures and attempt to embrace them. I indulged in everything I had never known before and savored every piece of resemblance within each other. There’s so much to know about our world. My travel discoveries are more than just about the historical monuments, the food, culture, and music; I continue to learn as much about myself as I do about others.
