I am 4 love letters away from seeing the fiery flame of my romantic affair

You are the most enchanting miracle I’ve been blessed with

An otherworldly being,

The dragonborn who has conquered my heart

I love that our shared interests in novels

have made you the narrator of the tales

we both embark on together

going from galactic space wars, forgotten kingdoms or sorting through murder mysteries

I love the punchlines you make while we play Portal 2 together,

Or how you quote some of my favorite novels while we play "It takes two"

or how serious you get when we play "Overcooked"

and how we both pretend not to be scared while watch each other play Five Nights at Freddy's

Although our mutual interests make us feel less far apart,

a wistful longing for the time we can embrace one another lingers

I know that it's selfish of me to keep you awake so late at night,

but the thought of ending our conversations makes me feel

like I'm letting you go,

and coming to terms with that never gets easy

Fortunately for us,

there are not as many days left
