My handsome darling

Time has never felt to slip so fast through my fingers

as it has been since we first met,

for you have become my otherworldly

Amour fou.

From the moment I laid my eyes on you,

through the adventures we’ve conquered

Your heart has shown you to be

the most affable and caring soul of all.

As the sun surrenders under the full moon

the silky touch of your lips

Along with your tongue thrusting magic

wetting the garden into bliss

I howl heartfelt emotions

as my blood rushes through my veins

and from the depth of my soil

a bright red hydrangea blossoms

You’ve spread seeds deep within

so that even in stormy weather,

strong winds and cold rain

they bloom and paint the vallyes in colorful clusters

and unlike the Japanese emperor’s legend,

never shall my heart neglect you

In favor of futile ventures that our future may hold.

For every morning that I see you lying next to me,

You make my sweetest dreams

Feel like granted wishes upon stars.

Now with the third quarter in the starry night

I reminisce on our wild rendezvous

the warmth of the rims of your lips

in the Perennial gardens of my land
