Hymns of Devotion

My prince,

I am 8 love yearning songs away

’till I can hear your baritone

whispering in my ear sweet little harmonies.

Now more than ever,

my heart wants to sing hymns of devotion

because you’ve made me believe

that true love does exist.

I no longer ponder on whether

I’ve made the right decision.

The times my mind hypothesize about the worst possible outcomes,

my heart replies with romantic theories

based on the countless times we have cherished one another.

You have shown me what no other man has

and redefined what a real man is.

I’ll compose and sing poetic musical pieces

telling the world about the greatest love I’ve ever known.

I want to spend the rest of my existence with you,

being your friend, lover, and soulmate…

For there’s no one else I’d rather be with

because you love me so…
